Andrew’s speech at the rehearsal dinner will go down in history. Can’t quite remember what he said,(very drunk on his hospitality) but I know I cried. Cometh the moment, cometh the man. Having not attended Andrew and Christine’s wedding, (which I suspect was a blast) I can only speculate that the man who stood up that night was having one of the best days of his life. We were too. I am sure that I was not the only one, whose hangover, lasted well into the middle of the wedding, the following day. Thanks Andrew and Christine for your wonderful daughter, whom I count as one of the most special friends in my life, and although we met Andrew rarely, it was always like meeting family. You will be missed, not only by those who loved you and knew you well, but those whom your love and generosity was given without malice, without judgement and without hesitation.
