Colin 5th February 2018

We first met Andrew - Mac as his colleagues at College called him (and I still do today) in 1960 when we were freshers at the West Ham College of Technology, University of London. We enjoyed many happy years at the college, racing and rallying (and a few serious studies to gain our degrees) and have always kept in touch with him and Christine as great friends. His humour and fun-loving outlook on life has been an example to us all. I can recall so many memorable moments with Mac, such as hurtling down the Southend arterial road in his MG TC, where the throttle was a piece of string tied to the carburettor which Mac pulled from the cockpit, the chassis was broken in two (did not know it at the time!!) and the exhaust fell off, so I had to run back to retrieve it, burnt my hands 'cos it was red-hot and all Mac could do was laugh his head off!! Such memories........... He will be so sadly missed. Colin and Madeleine
